It’s Time To Write The Vision and Walk In Your Purpose

Here’s your HOPE Note for the week:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

We’ve got less than 50 days left in 2015.  It’s time to say no to the obstacles holding you back and yes to purposeful living. Did you know that 75% of U.S. adults say they are looking for ways to live a more meaningful life? (Barna Research). The late Myles Munroe said it best:
“The wealthiest places in the world are not gold mines, oil fields, diamond mines or banks. The wealthiest place is the cemetery. There lies companies that were never started, masterpieces that were never painted… In the cemetery there is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential. There is a treasure within you that must come out. Don’t go to the grave with your treasure still within YOU.”

Everyone has a unique purpose to fulfill; an assignment in life given by God. He has instilled gifts and talents within you to solve a problem or be a solution in a certain field. This is where you will flourish and give Him glory for the works He performs through you. It’s time for you to get into purpose. Imagine having more time, energy and health to do the things you love and are passionate about while reaching people with your unique gift. Only you can make the bold decision to stop existing and begin to walk out God’s plan and purpose for your life. Start today by getting into God’s Word and discover what He says about you and your purpose!

Reflecting On The Life and Legacy of Myles Munroe

One week ago, Dr. Myles Munroe transitioned from this life into heaven. Last Sunday, Munroe and his wife died in a plane crash along with several staff members and associates.

Munroe, an internationally renowned author, lecturer, teacher, life coach, government consultant, and leadership mentor, profoundly impacted my life. God used Munroe’s biblically based teachings on purpose, Kingdom living, leadership and prayer to deliver me from a religious mindset into a true understanding of Christianity and faith.

Several of my favorite Myles Munroe quotes:

“The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose.”

“A wedding is and event, but marriage is a life.”

“Circumstances and crises are God’s tools to move you into your purpose and the maximizing of your potential.”

“People generally fall into one of three groups: the few who make things happen, the many who watch things happen, and the overwhelming majority who have no notion of what happens. Every person is either a creator of fact or a creature of circumstance. He either puts color into his environment, or, like a chameleon, takes color from his environment.”

“When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.”

“The poorest man in the world is a man without a dream.”

“One of the great truths of the Bible is that whenever God gets ready to do anything in the earth, He always works through a person or a group of people whom He has called and who have willingly responded to Him. The human factor is key for God’s activity on the earth. When God prepared to deliver the Israelites from Egypt, He called Moses. When He got ready to rescue His people from the Midianites, He called Gideon. When God wanted to warn His disobedient people of His judgment and call them back to Him, He called Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Amos, and the other prophets. When God was ready to send His Son into the world, He chose Mary, a humble peasant girl, to be His mother. When Jesus Christ prepared to send His message of salvation throughout the world, He called and anointed men and women—His Church—and commissioned them for the mission. This illustrates an incredible principle under which God operates: Without God we cannot, and without us God will not. For everything that God desires to do in the earth, He enters into partnership with those to whom He has already given dominion.”
