Here’s your midweek #hopenote and scripture reading:
“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established.” Proverbs 24:3
“Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.” Psalm 127:1
“Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of the house has more honor than the house itself. For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.” Hebrews 3:3-4
With God as your Builder, every effort and step made towards your divine purpose counts. Keep the faith and don’t you dare give up. Let’s go HOPE Family!
Help me build with Habitat for Humanity. I’m working alongside a team of 300 women to physically build a home for a deserving family in Indiana. Learn more about the 2017 Women Build.
“He is not here: for He is risen, as He said.” Matthew 28:6

“Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst [for meaning or significance]. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:13-14
I expect breakthrough and great things happening for you and your family this month.
May you experience a renewed sense of peace, purpose and a fresh move of God’s Spirit to replenish all that has been lost. Send me a note to share your testimony or prayer request. Make it a great week!
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Isaiah 40:29
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18.
“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2
This evening I felt that many of you are going through a difficult time and really needed a word of encouragement. You’re truly at your wit’s end and everything you’ve tried in attempts to fix your problem has not worked. The Lord wants you to know that He’s not forgotten about you. He’s with you and working behind the scenes for one of the greatest blessings you’ve ever experienced in your life! Remember the story of Lazarus? When Jesus got word that His friend was ill, He stayed on His journey a few days longer. Not because He didn’t care about His friends, but because He was about to move mightily in their lives. His timing is perfect. I know you feel like you can’t endure another disappointment and you want to give up. Don’t! You’re a perfect candidate for a supernatural touch from God. Stay in faith.
The Lord has already given you His power and authority to speak to your mountains and decree victory over your troubles. The dead situations in your life will be resurrected by the power that works through you. Use the weapons of the Word and your praise. In the midst of feeling weak, you must continue to stand and believe you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. Be encouraged my friend.

“Now we have this hope as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul. It cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out on it- a hope that reaches farther and enters into the very certainty of the Presence within the veil.” Hebrews 6:19 AMP
“There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”
Proverbs 23:18 NIV
“Unto You, O Lord, do I bring my life. O my God, I trust, lean on, and am confident in You. Let me not be put to shame or (my hope in You) be disappointed; let not my enemies triumph over me. Yes, let none who trust and wait hopefully and look for You be put to shame or be disappointed…” Psalm 25:1-3 AMP
Psalm 71:1- 6
What presently appears to be hopeless?
Now read Psalm 71: 7-24 aloud. With God, what is possible?
Father, my faith needs hope to outlast life’s trials and circumstances. I declare that my hope is anchored in the Lord who never disappoints or fails. Help me to maintain my focus – which is confidence in you and not my own strength. Your word says this type of hope cannot break down under anyone who steps out on it. Thank you for hope today – Hunger Outlasting Problematic Encounters. In Jesus’ name. Amen. *Excerpt from forthcoming HOPE Notes devotional.
“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.” Proverbs 4:25
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead…” Philippians 3:13
“May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the works of our hands for us-yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17
My prayer is that you would leave 2015 behind and start 2016 with a fresh outlook on life, purpose and God’s best for your life! I look forward to all the great things God is going to do through you this year. Thanks for being a part of our HOPE Community and Family!
