Provision for Your Purpose

Happy Sunday Evening!

Here’s your #hopenote for the week:

“And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.”
1 Kings 17:8-9

Now more than ever, it’s important to hear God’s voice. You must accurately discern “where” He is leading to fulfill His plan and purpose for your life. You must also be both willing and obedient to step out in faith when you don’t see the entire picture. As you take the first step, Holy Spirit will provide you with clarity and direction.
Remember: The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23). Make it a great week! ~ Cheryl Lynne

People Builder's Blog

Blake M 1In a previous blog I mentioned TOMS shoes founder Blake Mycoskie who has been described as a visionary, exceptional businessman, philanthropist and outstanding entrepreneur. When it first appeared, his book Start Something That Matters impacted me with its message of inspiring others to turn their passions and dreams into reality. Following his talk at a leadership conference several years ago I saw him sitting on the floor outside the meeting room and I mustered the courage to flop down beside him for a brief conversation.

Blake retells his fascinating story in the January-February (2016) issue of Harvard Business Review. He writes about building a very profitable company but then losing the passion and excitement for what he had been doing. He became disillusioned. His days had become monotonous. “What had once been my reason for being now felt like a job,” he wrote. He felt lost because his company—and…

Hold On and Stay In Faith!

Happy Sunday!

Here’s your #hopenote for the week:

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good.  At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Isaiah 40:29

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18.

“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

#Stand #Persevere #HoldOn #hopenotes

This evening I felt that many of you are going through a difficult time and really needed a word of encouragement. You’re truly at your wit’s end and everything you’ve tried in attempts to fix your problem has not worked. The Lord wants you to know that He’s not forgotten about you. He’s with you and working behind the scenes for one of the greatest blessings you’ve ever experienced in your life! Remember the story of Lazarus? When Jesus got word that His friend was ill, He stayed on His journey a few days longer. Not because He didn’t care about His friends, but because He was about to move mightily in their lives. His timing is perfect. I know you feel like you can’t endure another disappointment and you want to give up. Don’t! You’re a perfect candidate for a supernatural touch from God. Stay in faith.

The Lord has already given you His power and authority to speak to your mountains and decree victory over your troubles.  The dead situations in your life will be resurrected by the power that works through you. Use the weapons of the Word and your praise. In the midst of feeling weak, you must continue to stand and believe you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. Be encouraged my friend.
