Give Thanks for God’s Grace

Happy Sunday!

Here’s your HOPE Note for the week:

“Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
Psalm 136:1

#Thanksgiving 2015
The Greek word for grace is “charis”. Strong’s Greek Concordance defines “charis” as:
1) grace, as a gift or blessing brought to man by Jesus Christ
2) favor
3) gratitude, thanks
4) a favor, kindness.

This word can be found all throughout the New Testament. Charis is the foundation of all I do in business and ministry and is found in one of my favorite passages of scripture:

2 Corinthians 9:8 Amplified Version

And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient (possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation).

Today, I want to encourage you to give thanks and celebrate what God has done in your life! Think about what He’s brought you through and the good work He is presently performing in you. You are a modern day example of God’s grace in action. Amen!
