A Word for The Weary: Have Hope

Is 40-13c

I’m tired of struggling

Just can’t hold on any longer

Simply loosing all hope

Are these the thoughts running through your mind? The words you’re currently speaking over your circumstance?  God’s Word has the power to restore your strength.

My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. Psalms 119:28 NIV

He gives power to the faint and weary and to him who has no might. He increases strength causing it to multiply and making it to abound. Even youths shall faint and be weary and selected young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted; but those who wait for the Lord who expect and hope for Him, shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up close to God as eagles mount up to the sun; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. Isaiah 40:29-31AMP

Although Jesus was a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered, and once made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 5:8-10 NIV

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. Hebrews 10:36 NIV

Scripture Reading:

Acts 5:17-39

1 Corinthians 9:24

Galatians 6:9

Matthew 11:28

Reflection:

What is your desired goal? How will you get there?

What will you commit to doing and when will you do it?

What tools or resources do you need to achieve your goal?

Prayer for Today:

Father, I claim supernatural strength and encouragement for today and in all that I undertake. Your word says that you satisfy the weary soul, so I welcome your power and receive the gift of being refreshed and renewed in my mind, body, and spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
